Ingredients

(For 4 - 5 people)

  • 4 chicken thighs or chicken drumsticks
  • 300ml LiF Fresh Milk
  • 1 potato
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 green capsicum (bell pepper)
  • 1 small celery stick
  • 1 lemon
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 2-3 red onions
  • 5-6 cherry tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt, pepper
  • ½ teaspoon mixed herbs

Roasted Chicken With Milk And Vegetable

Your family will be very happy and satisfied with this simple easy recipe. Milk is the secret here to create amazing smell and soft – silky texture of chicken. This roasted chicken is always a perfect choice even in a family dinner or weekend party.

Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius

Cut potato, carrot and celery into small pieces (roll-cutting)

Slice capsicum into 1cm thick, thinly slice lemon

Season chicken with salt and pepper

Heat the pan to high heat. Coat the pan with oil. Add the chicken in to sear the meat. Once the first side has completely seared, flip the chicken to the other side. Then put in the roaster.

Add potato, carrot, celery, capsicum into hot pan, stir fry quickly then add to roaster above.

Also add in garlic cloves, whole red onions, cherry tomatoes, mixed herbs

Then add milk into roaster, can add more milk if needed

Put in the oven, roast for 35-40 minutes

Sear the meat helps to keep the moisture inside the meat when roasted in the oven. It makes the dish more flavorful and interesting.
